Revolver after show party at Waxy O'Connor's

On Tuesday 20th September the Irish pub chain Waxy O'Connor's hosted the exclusive after-show party to the premiere of the much awaited Guy Ritchie film, Revolver.

In addition to Guy Ritchie and Madonna, a host of famous names and faces attended at the strictly invite-only bash including, Sting and Trudy Styler, Jason Statham, Ray Liotta, Mickey Rourke, Vincent Pastore, Dexter Fletcher, Andre 3000 and Jasmine Lennard.

 It was Guy Ritchie himself that chose Waxy O'Connor's as the venue to celebrate the opening of his new film with his cast, crew, friends and family on this special evening. Said to be “fed up” with post-premiere parties at glitzy bars and clubs, Ritchie wanted to spend his evening in a warm, relaxed and fun atmosphere. And Waxy’s offered exactly that.

Guests flocked to Waxy's after watching the premiere of Revolver and as they entered on the red carpet were greeted with the aptly named ‘Revolver’ cocktail. Guests then made their way through to the numerous bars for which Waxy's is renowned. An authentic three piece Irish band played a selection of traditional songs and the venue was decked out with candles to give the already cosy venue an even more relaxed and warm feel.

Guy and Madonna spent much of the evening in Waxy's Cottage Bar which was turned into a VIP area for one night only where Guy also enjoyed singing with the Irish Folk band that were playing.

It can safely be said a great night was had by all!
